Aside from colleting electronics youchange has a presence in schools around the valley teaching students about current sustainability problems around the world. Also, we can provide charities, organizations, businesses, and schools with a means to raise funds.
youchange Team:  Jeffrey Rassás: Founder & CEO -Born in California but moved to Jordan and Qatar soon after, learning arabic and dodging bullets. From the Middle East, Jeffrey moved straight to Arizona. Married his beautiful wife and had two incredible daughters that make him smile every day. Loves to travel, row and cycle, in fact, he is not happy until he rides at least 150 miles a week. Electrical and magnetics design engineer through schooling and self taught neuroscientist which has been a catalyst to learning the environments devastating impact on our health and disease. A serial entrepreneur with a focus on technology, the Internet and software as a service. Most recently lead the acquisition and turn around of ImproveNet.com, Earth911.com, Pets911.com and AMBERalert.com later selling off Pets911.com and AMBERalert.com. The creation and launch of youchange came as a result of the perfect storm of my interest in neuroscience, environment and past experiences. Including youchange Holdings Corp, he's taken 3 companies public.
Derrick Mains: Executive Vice President of Business Development & Operations -A 2010 Green Pioneer award winner, Derrick Mains is a proven entrepreneur with a deep knowledge of recycling and sustainability initiatives. His experience includes the development of a number of technology platforms that improve corporate efficiency and apply principles of social learning. Derrick has extensive experience in corporate business development, sales management, traditional and cause marketing, social media, web-based lead generation, technology, licensing, finance, fund-raising, logistics and supply chain development. Derrick has served as the Vice President of Business Development for AMBERalert.com and Pets911.com and was the driving force behind a number of producer responsibility/green initiatives including trans-organizational partnerships with global oil companies as the Vice President of Energy Reclamation Initiatives with Earth911.com 1-800-CLEANUP. Mains is the co-founder and former CEO of GreenNurture.com, a Software-as-a-Service application that fosters and gauges behavioral and attitudinal changes within the workplace around sustainability initiatives. Additionally Derrick sits on the board of The Green Chamber, advises B100, the first environmentally friendly beverage product, writes for a number of leading environmental publications and hosts Your Triple Bottom Line Radio. Dan Fogel: VP of Operations and Strategic Initiatives -holds an MBA degree, is a credentialed Project Management Professional (PMP), and has over 20 years of business, organizational, and non-profit expertise. He has spent over 10 years at Hewlett Packard and is the founder of A Greener Refill (a company focused on reducing the “printing” carbon footprint of businesses and consumers). Mr. Fogel also serves on the Board of Directors as Chairman of Sustainable Communities AZ Foundation. He has lived in Arizona for over 30 years and is very committed to supporting the local community and spreading the benefits of “sustainability.”
Rick Papworth: Chief Financial Officer -Rick has over 20 years of experience with public & private companies, including reverse-merger going public transactions; taking companies public; raising capital; and strategic planning & execution during periods of rapid growth. He is responsible for the financial operations of youchange. Naser Ahmad: Chief Technology Officer-Naser is responsible for all technology development for youchange. He is also responsible for the day-to-day management of the company's domestic and international technology development organizations. He brings more than 25 years experience in the development of technology and enterprise software solutions for business to the company. He has held the position of CTO for the last 20+ years. Most recently he has been the President & CTO of eTechlogix Inc, Co-Chairman & CTO of ImproveNet Inc and Co-Founder and CTO of etechLogix Inc. Throughout his career, Naser has held technical leadership positions with both entrepreneurial ventures as well as large corporations including Caterpillar International Dealerships, Sante Fe International and Taylor Management Systems. Naser is a graduate of the University of Karachi with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and a postgraduate diploma in Computer Science.
Gian Solema: Project Manager -Gian was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised across the river in Piscataway, New Jersey then moved to Arizona for college. He is a Sustainability (BS) Major and Architectural Studies Minor at Arizona State University School of Sustainability and set to graduate in May of 2011. His degree focus is in energy, materials and technology which made youchange the perfect fit for Gian. He loves being part of this young company and looks forward to seeing it fulfill its purpose in our local community and around the world. If he is not trying to be creative with words at youchange you can usually find him playing basketball, breakdancing, or spending quality time with family and friends.
Anthony Vargas-Frank: Sales Director -Anthony has lived in the Phoenix area his entire life. He graduated from the ASU School of Sustainability in May of 2011 with a focus in Energy, Materials and Technology. He started out at youchange as an Operations Analyst Intern while he was still in school. He has grown with the youchange team and is now our Sales Director. Anthony uses his sustainability background and sales expertise to add a great amount of value to the youchange team. If he is not directing sales at youchange he is taking care of Dobby, the youchange dog.
