We accept hundreds of gadgets including but can only provide values for laptops, cell phones, smart phones, PDA’s, mp3 players, GPS devices, LCD monitors, video game consoles, digital cameras, digital camcorders, tablets, e-readers, desktops, audio systems, camera lens', dvd players, satellite radios, external drives, and large screen projectors.
Explain the youchange process to me…
Visit youchange.com. Search for the electronic device you wish to offer or recycle. The site will prompt you to describe the condition of your used gadget. Then, the site will give you the Fair Market Value and/or the amount of youchange Reward Points that you will receive for selling or recycling your electronic device. From there, you can either choose to check out or offer and recycle more items! Don’t forget to take advantage of the free ID Armor offer.
How do I get my items to youchange headquarters?
Upon checking out you will have the option to drop off your items or ship them. If you choose to drop them off when you entered your first item, you will receive more money. If you choose to ship, youchange will pay for the shipping if your items are functioning and worth at least $15. You will receive a prepaid shipping label(s) and shipping instructions in an email after you complete your order.
How is the ‘fair market value’ or cash value of my product calculated?
youchange.com has formed strategic relationships with fair market value partners; in addition our proprietary tools and search applications provide the most precise up-to-date pricing to determine any used item’s value. This unique partnership gives youchange a competitive advantage over other electronic waste recyclers.
How do I collect the cash for my product?
youchange.com will issue you a check or paypal payment for your item(s) based on the terms and conditions defined in our Terms & Conditions page!. You can also choose to donate to our partner charities.
What are reward points and what can I use them for?
With each product you successfully offer or recycle through the youchange.com program, you will receive reward points that are redeemable towards purchases in our own re-Commerce store! Your rewards will continue to accumulate as you sell and recycle and never expire. As your electronic purchases continue to accumulate remember that youchange.com is with you for life now! You will also receive reward points by referring new members to youchange.com.
How long does it take to receive my cash and reward points?
You will be notified of your pending balance and reward points online in your membership account at youchange.com. Once youchange has received the item(s) and inspected its condition per the terms and conditions defined on our Legal Page. This process usually takes one week. Your money will be available through a check mailed directly to the address provided at creation of membership or electronically through PayPal
Can I donate my money and reward points?
youchange does allow you to donate your money to our partner charities. Don’t see your favorite charity, please let us know at info@youchange.com
What does youchange.com do with my used gadget?
youchange.com will refurbish and resell gadgets that have retained value in an effort to extend the product lifecycle and offer low cost technology to users during these tough economic times. Items no longer suitable for refurbishment will be sent to the youchange.com network of certified electronic recyclers to harvest the raw materials for reuse or to be properly disposed.
Do I have to be a member to offer or recycle my gadget at youchange.com?
Yes, you have to join to offer to sell or recycle your gadgets at youchange.com. But membership is free! Join Now!
